Result:

When creating a purchase order with a vendor and selecting a Fixed Asset line, a new field—No. of Fixed Asset Cards—is available. This field is hidden by default but can be added to the purchase line through the Personalization feature in Business Central

.

In Business Central 27 (BC27), users can now specify the actual number of fixed assets in the Quantity field. Previously, this field was mainly used for calculating the total amount, and users typically entered a quantity of “1”.

Before posting, users can preview the Fixed Asset Ledger Entries that will be generated. This preview displays the detailed entries for each individual asset.

Fixed asset cards will be automatically created when purchase order is posted.
